Its just a matter of time...

Bella is my bestest pal in the whole wide world. But there's no way, I mean no WAY I'd be scrubbing and taping together cash coming out the other end. Well wait, maybe for a few benjamins. Huh she IS a hunting dog.....and I'm convinced one of our neighbors has a money tree in the backyard....TIME FOR WALKIES!!!!

I'm officially turning into the cafe

So I went to the bank to make a deposit from the weekend and the teller proceeded to tell me that I smell like cereal. More specifically, that I always smell like Trix. Now I can't decide if I'm horrified or flattered. The horrifying part is that I showered between going into the cafe early this morning and the bank so I technically should smell like Aveda or Dove. But maybe there's a sales opportunity somewhere here? A new Cereality exclusive: "Eau da Trix"!?!? Now to figure out how to bottle that....

Happy Birthday Will!

Today Will turns 1 year old. He survived living here with his parents for a year. Hopefully he makes it to 2. A big thanks to Mom & Dad who came down to help celebrate it with us and keep him out of trouble. He misses you guys already and keeps showing me "how big" he is. :)

Arts Fest 2007

We had a kicking weekend at the cafe and were even able to take Mom & Dad downtown to scope out the artists for a bit. Even though Will was cutting teeth, he held up like a champ.

You're Free Cheesy Bread!!

Someone overheard me talking to Bella the other day and asked why Tom & I call her "cheese". Well there used to be this Dominos commercial about "cheesy bread". The delivery guy came to the door and the little girl picked up the cheesy berad, ran outside - plunked it out on the grass opening it up yelling "You're Free Cheesy Bread!". Now when we got Bella we wanted to crate her. And every time we'd come back and open the door we'd shout "YOU'RE FREE CHEESY BREAD YOU'RE FREE!" Yeah its so lame. Hey I wanted ZaZoo but Tom wanted to class it up. Not so fast eh Koppmann!!

July 4th in the Outter Banks

We spent July 4th down in the Outer Banks with Tom's family. Will loved the pool and the ocean, but really loved his new discovery of potato chips. But Daddy they just taste soooooooo good!!
